Jesús Martínez, owner of Club Leon, confirmed that he is in the process of selling the team while facing health problems. The Mexican businessman revealed that he is facing health problems that make it difficult for him to accompany his team closely in Spain, Real Oviedo. "I am in the process of selling the majority of Club Leon. It's not that we want to sell León, it's that we are forced to sell León, the majority part, and I have been in that process", Martínez said during a press conference of Real Oviedo. "Look, I am every day with all my teams and with Oviedo, but long trips affect me due to a column problem. I am also in the process of selling the majority of León, I have been in contact with investment funds", he added. The businessman clarified that, despite his health, he remains committed to both projects: "Every day will be more difficult to go by my health situation, but that does not mean that we are not active. I am at 100%, reviewing the Sports City and meeting with architects for the Oviedo project". On the other hand, Federico Viñas, who played in Spain with Oviedo, will have to return to Mexico after the team's descent to the Second Division. Martínez explained that the player will return to the clubs under the ownership of Grupo Pachuca and highlighted his performance: "Fede is a nine-goal striker, he's a great guy and he's going to a World Cup with Marcelo Bielsa. He has all the faculties to perform, and his contribution to the team is very valuable". On the relationship with coach Guillermo Almada, Martínez indicated that he respects the work of the coach and would not hesitate to hire him again in the future.
