Club Leon says goodbye to one of its defensive pillars, Stiven Barreiro, who will leave the team this summer after 6 years of career. The Colombian said goodbye to the fans this morning in his departure from the club's facilities. "I'm very grateful for these years in the institution, they've been wonderful for me, I became a winner", said Barreiro. During his time at Club Leon, Barreiro added 19,500 minutes in 230 games, becoming the sixth player in history to spend the most time on the field with the green panthers. He won three titles with the club: a league in the Apertura 2021, the Leagues Cup held in 2021 and a Concacaf Champions League in the 2022-2022 season. Although there are rumors about his return to Colombia, nothing has been officially announced.
